Geophysical surveying
and survey technology.
TerraBytes Surveys Limited is a geophysical surveying and technology company based in North Yorkshire. Our current work focuses on archaeological magnetometry, combining driverless acquisition, automated gap recovery, geophysical processing and setting out.
We operate GridRunner, monitor and coordinate fieldwork through Operations Centre, and process the resulting data in R‑12. Our setting-out tools enable selected features and survey points to be located and marked out on site. Together, these technologies support a service extending from survey planning and acquisition to data delivery and subsequent field investigation.
Ongoing technology development ＋
We develop our technologies alongside our survey work, using field performance and data review to guide improvements. Ongoing work includes refinements to vehicle guidance, acquisition monitoring, recovery workflows and R‑12 processing, together with the development of vehicle-mounted marking-out equipment.
