TerraBytes is a geophysical surveying and technology company based in North Yorkshire. We combine autonomous field acquisition, live quality monitoring and automatic gap detection with automated resurvey to recover missing data. Our focus is on capturing exceptionally high-quality data from the first pass, with any gaps detected and recovered before leaving the site. Our in-house R‑12 software processes the data into detailed maps, reports and GIS-ready datasets.

Our current fieldwork centres on magnetometry for archaeological investigation, using GridRunner, Operations Centre and R‑12. Integrated setting-out tools enable selected features and survey points to be marked out on site.
